Hey! I have a quick favor to ask of everyone. I"m taking a marketing class in school right now and we have this quiz we have to try and pass around to get 100 responses to, as part of our final presentation.

It might not seem it-seeing as my gallery is littered with drawings of girls-but I am a BL (boy love) supporter! If you haven't noticed of late, there's been a bit of an uproar regarding the amount of porn the admins on DA are letting slip by simply because it's lady parts or what ever their reasoning is.
Anyway, a friend of mine just sent me a very interesting journal by another deviant, <Lehanan (https://www.deviantart.com/lehanan) that addresses this subject. I can't help but agree whole heartedly with her on every point and she says it far better then I ever good, so lets let them do the talking! ~.^

The Hyatt Regency O’Hare, ACen’s usual setting, is in the middle of a HUGE labor dispute. The workers of the hotel are asking for a livable wage and family health insurance, so we can pay rent and take our kids to the doctor at the same time. On top of that, workers are being injured on the job ALL THE TIME. Workers staged a one-day strike this September and have called for a boycott of the Hyatt O'Hare. We are asking ACen to MOVE TO ANOTHER HOTEL.
This labor dispute has been going on for over a year, and likely WILL NOT be resolved by ACen 2011. Tell ACen staff that a party with Domo-Kun in a place where workers are getting hurt is no party at all.

We stopped staying at the Hyatt after our first year in ACen, they never treated us well. My aunt, who was with us, walks with a cane and instead of giving us the room we'd requested and reserved months ahead of time they gave our room away and gave us a room that was literally at the other end of the hall from the elevators.
So, while we haven't stayed at the Hyatt for the past couple of years and don't plan on it next year, know we support your cause anyway ^^0 Best of luck <3
